By installing or using ShakeMorseLamp ("the app") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

About ShakeMorseLamp

ShakeMorseLamp is an Android application published by HandySparkSoft (D. A.). It controls the device flashlight, transmits text as Morse code through the torch, and can switch the light on in response to a shake gesture. The app runs entirely on your device and requires no account.

Safety And Intended Use

Please read this section carefully.

• ShakeMorseLamp is not an emergency service and is not a substitute for one. Its SOS and emergency-message features are convenience tools. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number by every means available to you.
• Do not rely on the app as your only means of signalling for help. Its operation depends on your device's battery, hardware, and operating system, any of which can fail.
• The app produces rapid flashing light. If you or anyone nearby has photosensitive epilepsy or another condition affected by flashing light, use it with appropriate caution.
• Do not shine the flashlight into anyone's eyes, and do not use the app where flashing light could distract or endanger others — for example toward drivers, aircraft, or vessels.
• Prolonged torch use warms the device and drains the battery. Extended transmission may cause the phone to heat noticeably.
• You are responsible for using the app lawfully, including any local rules on signalling, distress signals, or light use.

Eligibility

You may use the app if you are able to form a binding agreement under the law that applies to you. If you are a minor, use it with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the app to harass, endanger, deceive, or interfere with others, nor to send false distress signals. You agree not to reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell the app except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted.

Your Content

Messages you type into the app stay on your device. You retain any rights you have in them, and you are responsible for what you choose to transmit.

Privacy

The app collects no personal data. See the Privacy Policy for detail.

Third-Party Services

The app is distributed through Google Play, whose own terms govern distribution, billing where applicable, and your device account. Links the app can open at your request — the Play listing and this website — are subject to the terms of the service that handles them.

Availability And Changes

The app is provided as-is and may change, or stop being distributed or supported, at any time. Features may vary by device: flashlight brightness control needs supported hardware, and the in-app language picker needs Android 13 or newer.

Intellectual Property

The app, its name, and its design remain the property of their respective owners. These terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the app, not ownership of it.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, or uninterrupted operation. No warranty is given that the app will function correctly in an emergency.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including harm resulting from reliance on it as a safety or signalling device. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it, which also removes the data it stored on your device.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not remove any mandatory consumer protection you have where you live.

Changes To These Terms

These terms may be updated. The revised version will be published here with a new "Last updated" date.
